Sophie Tremlett will show how aerial photographs and lidar are being used to discover and map archaeological sites.

This talk will focus on the aerial archaeology of Breckland, a beautiful and distinctive region of East Anglia with a fascinating wealth of archaeological sites. It will present results from the ‘Brecks from Above’ project, which is part of the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Landscape Partnership Project, ‘Breaking New Ground’.
