About this event

Other

Join CIOB Oxford and our guest speaker James Carpenter of Kier Group to discuss the BSA...

The UK government is implementing reforms to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) to accelerate housebuilding and the development of new buildings. These reforms include a new fast-track process for applications and structural changes to the BSR to improve efficiency and speed up decision-making. The reforms are particularly focused on higher-risk buildings, which often face longer and more complex approval processes.

James Carpenter, Construction & Engineering Director at Kier, will provide further insight into what the Act means for our projects from preconstruction into delivery and beyond. An event not to be missed!

Light refreshments will be provided

Members: You gain 3 CIOB CPD points when you reflect on the ethical aspects of your learning from this activity.
