Our guest speaker this month is John Higgins and he will be talking about
YB12 - Your Best Year Ever
Picture yourself 12 months from now, looking back over the year that has just gone. What would it take for you to look back and realise that you actually had your best year ever?
Would your business be in a better place; would your financial position be healthier; would your life be in better balance; would your relationships with those closest to you be stronger and more fulfilling?
Whatever the specifics of what makes up your personal vision of your best year ever, we're going to be in conversation with John Higgins of YB12 about all these great things, and also about some not so great things, such as procrastination, resistance to change, and the failure cycle: all things that get in the way of our aspirations in life.
John, who has had more than three decades inspiring and motivating people to achieve their goals, will deliver the YB12 Keynote Presentation, and will introduce the YB12 programme, which sets out to resolve the fundamental paradox, that whilst most people have goals in life, most people often fail to achieve those very goals.
Your Best Year Ever is truly within your grasp, let's get started.
Member Spot – Eve Earley Empowering Change
I’m often asked ‘Eve – what exactly do you do?’
I answer with a question: ‘Are you living your best life?’’
Working with individuals and small businesses, I teach resilience, flexibility and creativity. It takes confidence to live well in an uncertain world.
Life used to be simpler. Your work life was a career path. We all anticipated a ‘linear’ one. Typically we moved from school to work, had infrequent job changes and onto retirement. Not so anymore.
My own ‘circular’ career (and life) experience beyond university, took me into corporate, around the law, onto counsellor training, through both a full and part-time career break while rearing three daughters, then across the pond.
Living a major ‘reinvention’ of myself and employing every career coaching skill and technique I learned and practiced during the 80’s recession makes me uniquely qualified to support your “personal change management” process.
Change is hard and no one should go it alone! A networker and problem solver, I create and support communities of like-minded people. So whether it’s peer-to-peer education at a BizCamp; gathering local entrepreneurs/creative/techies to champion each other’s businesses at Newry Creates; or writing, career or personal development group workshops we can help.
A detailed description of what drives me can be found at Tangible Ireland’s ‘Ethos & Values’ page.
Visitors are always welcome (the attendance fee of £5, includes a light breakfast and is payable at the event).
