Corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate conscience, corporate citizenship, responsible business – whatever the moniker, a company’s economic, social and environmental contribution is increasingly important in the modern marketplace.

A well-constructed approach to CSR can help build reputation as a responsible business which can affect real social change. Many companies favour suppliers who have community-focused policies and increasing customers don't just prefer to deal with responsible companies, they insist on it.

This breakfast briefing, hosted by Nexen Petroleum UK and Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce with guests from (Business in the Community (BITC), will feature a networking breakfast, an overview by our panel members on the current opportunities and challenges for organisations seeking to reinvigorate their CSR activity, and then open questions from the audience to all panel members.

The discussion will focus on how all sectors working as partners can be a positive force for good in the region.
