About this event
A few summers ago, Patrick Barkham set out to find all 59 species of British butterfly in one summer. In this illustrated talk, he will discuss the appeal of butterflies, and the pleasure – and pain – of trying to find them all. He will also talk about how we can help these beautiful insects prosper.
Patrick lives in Norfolk and is Natural History Writer for the Guardian. He is also the award-winning author of The Butterfly Isles, Badgerlands, Islander and Wild Child. He is currently researching a biography of the nature writer Roger Deakin.
