If you are new to the C-Card Scheme - You must book a place and attend 'C-Card Scheme Part 1: An Overview' in order to attend this session
If you have previous experience of the C-Card scheme and dont need a refresher - you can book a place on Part 2 only
Aim
To support and safeguard young people aged 13-15 when they wish to join the C-Card Scheme.
Outcomes
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
•Know how to support a young person aged 13-15 to join the C-Card scheme
•Assess the appropriateness of providing a young person aged 13-15 with a C-Card Under 16
•Know your responsibilities relating to safeguarding
•Apply the Fraser guidelines correctly as part of the safeguarding process
•Demonstrate the correct use of condoms
•Signpost young people to sexual health services, including iCaSH clinics
