The role of the Ketogenic Diet in chronic disease

Roderick is one of the UK's most highly regarded naturopathic practitioners. The ketogenic diet as we understand it today was developed in the John Hopkins hospital in the 1920s as a natural cure for epilepsy. Roderick will explore the key action of ketogenics, explain its anti-inflammatory role and the manner by which it avoids feeding conditions that are stimulated by sugar. This will include practical tips and protocols, which you can explore in your practice.

Integrative Medicine - The future of cancer care

Robin is the Founder and Chairman of the UK registered charity, Yes to Life. His youngest daughter Bryony contracted a rare cancer at age 9yrs and had two further cancers, the second of which proved fatal at 23yrs. Robin will look at the current approach to cancer care in the UK and compare the support for an integrative approach around the world. Contrasting theories of cancer will be discussed along with a summary of what is "on offer" for people with cancer.
