Date and time

About this event
Three top academics, three dangerous ideas and your host comedian Susan Morrison. Tonight Dr Kasey McCall-Smith (The University of Edinburgh) shares her experiences watching the trial of the men charged with orchestrating 9/11 and asks if it matters that they were tortured. Amy Andrada (The University of Edinburgh) wants to know why women judge each other on ideals of thinness, beauty, and ‘best mommy practices’. Are they just mean girls or is something else driving this? And Dr Mabel Victoria (Edinburgh Napier University) trawls toilet cubicles looking for poetry, philosophy and pornography! What do people write in the stalls when no-one is looking?
Doors will open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Please note this show is only suitable for age 18 and above.
