About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

The Cain Pit is a five-piece "punkgrass" band from Norwich, blending their love of roots music—bluegrass, rockabilly, and country—with the energy of punk rock in all its forms. Formed at the end of the world, they set out to create something unique, fusing these influences into a sound that’s both fresh and familiar.

After releasing well-received demos, the band dropped their debut EP, Sorrow, to much acclaim and praise from many music scenes. The success of Sorrow led to performances at major festivals and high-profile supports across the UK, earning them thousands of fans along the way.

Now, on June 27th, The Cain Pit returns with their highly anticipated follow-up EP, Joy. Following a sold-out show at Voodoo Daddy’s Showroom, the band knew it was the perfect venue to celebrate the new release.

With fans including MxPx's Mike Herrera, The Marshall Brothers of Larry & His Flask, and Pip Hancox of Guana Batz, The Cain Pit is a band you don’t want to sleep on. With limited local shows booked for 2025, catch them while you can!

Support:

The McCurdy Brothers. Blues Swamp-A-Billy duo that tour the world but always find themselves back home in Norfolk. Expect slidey, fuzzy, rhymical goodness.
