As Christians, we are called to follow God obediently where He leads us. But it can take time to truly discover His purpose for our lives. We need to spend time listening to what God is saying so that we can discern His voice and faithfully respond to serve Him within our churches and communities.
The Call is a free event aimed at Christians aged between 20 and 40, who worship at Anglican churches and want to deepen their relationship with God and explore ways in which God is calling them to serve Him. Through worship, teaching, conversation and prayer, The Call aims to challenge and inspire those gathered to:
Explore a calling in relation to ministry, mission and service
Become catalysts for transformation and change
Transform and impact their churches through leadership roles in their church
What is going to happen? During the event, three speakers will deliver TED-style talks introducing three aspects of ‘calling’; the call to be ‘radical’ (Rt Revd Mike Hill, Bishop of Bristol), ‘intentional’ (Revd Helen Collins) and ‘missional’ (Revd Chris Priddy). Following the talks, there will be a chance to choose which area you are most interested in, for further exploration in focus groups led by the keynote speaker.
