A 6 week series with Senior Buddhist teacher Chelvi in Canterbury

In times of personal hardship and global uncertainty, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and depression. Our minds can become cluttered with fear, doubt, and worry — leaving us feeling uncentered and disconnected.

Join senior Kadampa Meditation teacher Chelvi for weekly drop-in meditation classes designed to help you find calm and clarity amid life’s challenges.

Through simple, accessible meditation practices, Chelvi will help you step out of chaos and into calm rebellion — a powerful act of choosing inner peace over mental noise, hope over helplessness, and compassion over fear.

These classes offer a gentle space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your inner strength. You will learn practical tools you can carry into everyday life, helping you respond to difficulties with wisdom and resilience.

Turn worry and overwhelm into peace and clarity. Rediscover your potential for happiness, regardless of what is happening around you.

Everyone is welcome — no prior experience necessary.

Come as you are. Leave with a quieter mind and a stronger hear

Sessions last for an hour. They are suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience of meditation. Classes can be attended on a drop-in basis, as each session is self-contained. Light refreshments will be served before or after the class.

About this series: This weekly series aims to teach effective, meditation-based solutions to everyday problems taken from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition.
