Event Details

This public debate brings together leading Architects and construction professionals, to discuss the ethics, implications and purpose of building. What is the meaning of the City, and how does faith in Jesus Christ affect the way they design our built environment?

Join us for an interactive evening of lego building and debate as we take an honest look at Faith, Architecture and the City, set against the backdrop of contemporary dynamics that are affecting our cities- concentrations of power, increasing polarisation, homelessness, social action, iconic buildings and ‘Starchitects’.

Speakers will give short overviews on the Ideal City, the environment, business, politics and community, followed by a Q&A discussion between the panel and audience. Attendees are to present their own ideas of the Ideal City through a team lego building competition.
