THEME: GENERAL DISCUSSION: CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy)
I have looked through the ‘suggestions’ notes that some of you have provided on the note-cards over the last few meetings and for this next meeting, a few have suggested that we have a 'no-topic' meeting and have a general meeting instead. This means we can bring various issues, topics, etc to the meeting. Of course, we will brainstorm what you wish to discuss at the start of the meeting and use this for our Agenda. Peer Group Supervision and News and Updates sections will feature as usual, as this are important. Consequently, the theme of this meeting will be ‘General Discussion: CBT’.
Please feel free to bring along any worksheets, articles, books, tools, assessments, links etc that you wish to discuss or share with the group in relation to this topic or other news, suggestions etc that you would like to share with the group during the peer group supervision or news and updates segment of the meeting. If there is anything else in particular you would like to discuss or share at the meeting in relation to this topic, please also bring this to the group. Consequently, here is the Agenda for the next meeting:
* General Discussion: CBT (discussion, samples/examples and experiences)
* Peer Group Supervision (for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists)
* General discussion
* News and updates
* Topics/Themes/Activities for the next meeting
I will bring CPD Certificates of Attendance for those attending this meeting. Thie event will constitute 2.5 hours of CPD.
Tea, coffee, refreshments, biscuits provided (as are Certificates and Membership Packs, handouts (if applicable). The next edition of The CBT'ers Clb Newsletter will also be distributed to Registered Members before this event too!
Spaces are limited, so please book soon to avoid disappointment. Once booked, no refunds will be given, even following cancellation.
(Please note that although we are a sub-group of our parent organisation, Glasgow Centre for Eating Disorders, The CBT'ers Club is not an eating disorder group - we are interested in and discuss everything related to CBT - see more details about what The CBT'ers Club is below).
