Seminar/workshop series: Innovative Tools for Participatory Research with Children and Young People
Leapfrog: Tools for Creative Engagement
Professor Leon Cruickshank
Professor of Design and Creative Exchange
26 October 2016
4-5.30pm Brook Building room 009
The Leapfrog research project at Lancaster University invites you to a highly interactive seminar and workshop. Here we will share our story of co-designing tools and resources for creative, effective engagement in collaboration with public services, policy makers and young people. In the second part of the seminar you will try out the tools and come up with ideas to adapt the tools for your specific engagement challenges. You will also learn how to access the free online resources created by the Leapfrog project. Through sharing the tools widely our aim is for people’s ideas and opinions to be better heard in the design of public services, policies, places or projects.
Professor Leon Cruickshank is the principal investigator for Leapfrog, an AHRC project exploring the co-design of creative consultation. He is also Director of Knowledge Exchange for the AHRC Creative Knowledge Exchange Hub, and UK lead for the PROUD project looking at knowledge exchange through co-design.
Our seminars are free, including refreshments.
This assists us with ordering refreshments and notifying last-minute changes
