Description

This free teacher conference is a unique opportunity to engage with a wide range of teachers and practitioners to hear first hand how they have approached different aspects of financial education within their own Centre of Excellence schools.

The day includes interactive workshops, teacher presentations, access to free resources and the opportunity to network with teachers and practitioners engaged in financial education across all phases of education.

Delegates will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of workshops such as:

How financial education supports the new OFSTED inspection framework.
• How to develop parental and carer engagement
• Developing your SEN provision in school.
• Reviewing resources available to your education setting and phase

We would like to encourage all teachers currently within the Centres of Excellence network to extend this invitation out by sharing this page with anyone who is interested in attending.

Spaces for this event are limited so please be aware that if you do not attend this event without giving us at least two-weeks' cancellation notice, your school/organisation will be charged a £25.00 administration fee.

We are able to contribute £50 per NON-Centre of Excellence school for travel expenses. Please select this option when you complete the registration form.

The deadline to register for your ticket is Friday 12 July 2019.

What are my transport / parking options for getting to and from the event?

etc.venues County Hall is located on the Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament and next to the London Eye. As such, there isn't any parking available at the venue, but it is very well-placed and is accessible via numerous transport methods.

Bus Routes: RV1, 12, 53, 76, 77, 148, 159, 211, 453, and 507

Waterloo Mainline Station (National Rail Services)

Waterloo Underground Station (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo & City lines); Westminster Underground Station (Circle, District, Jubilee lines) and Lambeth North Underground Station (Bakerloo line)




What can I bring into the event?

You might want to bring a notepad and pen, but everything else (including lunch and refreshments) will be provided for you.

Please advise us in good time if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring this with you on the day.




Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

If you can no longer attend and wish to send someone else in your place, please ensure you either change the details on your online booking or contact us and we will do it for you.

As the event is so well attended, we do need to be made aware of any delegate changes to ensure our records are as accurate as possible.
