Event Details

The session will be led by Sarah Peters of Capital People.  Sarah is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is a leadership development expert, having designed and delivered many bespoke leadership development interventions for organisations such as Orbit Housing Group, Ocean Housing Group and Virgin Holidays.  She is a fully qualified and very experienced coach and mentor and is demonstrably successful in providing expert professional coaching to raise leadership and management capability.  Sarah’s senior operational and strategic experience ensures a big picture perspective and helps her to understand and support others with the challenges of leadership.


The Challenges of Leadership - summary of the event:

  • Appreciate how leaders can create a compelling and convincing vision
  • State how individuals are motivated and how a leader can set a climate for engagement
  • Understand the management by objectives cycle
  • Examine the effects of different leadership styles on team performance
