Description

About The Event

This is a one-day conference organised by Missio Africanus to discuss the changing landscape in Christianity in the city of Glasgow and in Scotland as a whole. Based on a just concluded research, the findings of which will be launched on the day, churches and churchgoing trends in Glasgow have rapidly diversified since the year 2000. This event therefore seeks to bring together church and ministry leaders, church planters, workers, members, scholars and other stakeholders involved in mission to reflect together on these research findings, its implications and how God maybe calling us all to engage in mission and ministry in the UK today. Dr. Sheila Akomiah-Conteh (of the Church of Pentecost, Glasgow), Dr. Emma Wild-Wood (of Edinburgh University) and Dr. Harvey Kwiyani (the Executive Director of Missio Africanus & Lecturer at Liverpool Hope University) will be speaking at the event.
