Event description

Description

Following a successful and insightful 2016 event, this year’s panel debate will provide a platform to discuss solutions rather than problems that you may face in your professional career, the importance of gender diversity and:

• The value of mentoring and sponsorship

• Setting personal and professional goals

• Being strategic in your career

• Growing your personal network

• Evolving your career and finding your next challenge

This event will take the format of a panel discussion and open Q&A at the ICMA Centre in Room 150. Chaired by our Deputy Dean Prof Ginny Gibson, the panel is made up of four influential leaders and industry professionals:

Joanna Abeyie: Founder & Director of Hyden Talent and Reading Alumna

Bukola Adisa: Head of Regulatory Compliance Monitoring and Testing for HSBC Europe & founder of Careers Masterclass for Women

Charlotte Weir: Managing Director, Debt Capital Markets at Barclays Investment Bank

Jennifer Paul: Local Area Manager at Enterprise

The panel discussion will then be followed by a networking session in the ICMA atrium where students will have the opportunity to meet with speakers and more industry experts from a wide range of industries and sectors, including Finance and Banking, Management, Start-Ups, etc.

The event is sponsored by Enterprise Holdings.

This event is for Henley Business School students only.
