We are delighted to welcome three inspirational speakers, for this exciting and topical event. The day will include presentations by our speakers, workshops/small group discussions facilitated by each speaker and a panel discussion with Q&A. This event is relevant to therapists already working with children and young people or those interested in training to do so. It is also relevant for educators, parents and policy makers and anyone else who is concerned about the mental health of children and young people in the world today.

What are the timings for the day?

The day will begin at 9.30 am and end at 5.00pm. There will be a one-hour break for lunch at approximately 1.00pm. The CCPE Ballroom will be open from 9.00am

How is the day structured?

In the morning, we will hear from our three speakers and in the afternoon (after lunch) we will break into three separate groups for workshops/discussion groups, each of which will be facilitated by one of our speakers. We will then come together for a panel discussion and Q&A.

How do I book one of the workshops/discussion groups?

You will be able to attend one of the workshops/discussion groups. Details of these groups will be released shortly. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve and cannot be booked in advance.

Certificates for CPD?

CPD certificates will be available at the end of the day for 7.5 hrs CPD. The name on the certificate will be the name you used when booking – if you need any changes to your name, please let Elena know asap. elena@ccpe.org.uk

Address, transport and parking?

The Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education (CCPE), 2 Warwick Crescent, London W2 6NE. Tel: 020 7266 3006. The nearest tubes are Warwick Avenue (Bakerloo Line) or Paddington (District, Circle & Elizabeth lines). There is no carpark at CCPE, we advise you use public transport.

Do you give refunds?

We are unable to give refunds for tickets bought, but if we can sell on your ticket to a person on the waiting list, then we will refund you the amount of £82.50 (the ticket price of £95 less £12.50 administration fees charged by Eventbrite).

Is there a waiting list if the event is sold out?

Places are limited, If tickets are sold out, then you can contact elena@ccpe.org.uk to be put on the waiting list, incase there are cancellations.

Food and beverages?

Lunch is not provided but there are many local cafes and restaurants. You are also welcome to use the kitchen in the basement of the building where you can make yourself a hot drink, put food in the fridge and use the microwave. If you ask any of the organisers on the day they can direct you.
