This is a pre-conference evening social event for people attending the Culture24 Let's Get Real conference. More info at www.letsgetrealconference.com
The Church of Fail is all about helping people celebrate personal ‘failure’ through fun and play, to turn it from a thing of shame to a learning opportunity. It’s the brainchild of NixonMcInnes, a consultancy specialising in creating more purposeful businesses through piloting and embedding new working practices. The Church of Fail was featured in Inc Magazine last year.
This special event takes place the evening before the Let's Get Real conference. It is brought to you by Culture24 in collaboration with NixonMcInnes. NixonMcInnes are a people and culture consultancy which exists to create meaning in business. They help large, complex organisations become more purposeful, collaborative, innovative and customer-focused. They do this by working with groups to inspire and bring out the best ideas from within. Clients include Barclays, O2, Cisco and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Their own unique culture has seen them awarded a place on the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces in the World every year since 2009.
The Church of Fail takes place on Wednesday 17th September, 7pm to 10pm. It is free to attend but you *must* book a ticket as places are limited. Burritos and beer will be available to buy on the night so get your ponchos and sombreros dusted down and get ready to 'fess up to failure!
When & Where
Culture24 is an independent charity which supports the cultural sector to reach and connect with audiences. We are a small and dynamic team of writers, thinkers, producers and publishers who love arts and culture, understand digital and believe that cultural organisations have a vital place in a better world.
We are best known for publishing great websites about culture; producing the successful Museums at Night festival of after-hours openings, and leading Let’s Get Real, the collaborative action research project involving cultural organisations across the UK and Europe. We also aggregate and share data about thousands of cultural events exhibitions and venues with a range of partners including the BBC.
Culture24 provides platforms, networks and safe, collaborative spaces within which cultural organisations can work together to reach and engage audiences, benchmark, experiment and learn. We broker partnerships and strategic opportunities that it would be near impossible to access as individual organisations.
