The Churchyards & Cemeteries of Urmston, Flixton & Davyhulme Book Launch

Join us for a fascinating journey into the history of the churchyards and cemeteries of Urmston, Flixton and Davyhulme as local historian, Michael Billington, launches his seventh book.

The four burial grounds covered in the talk and book are St Michael's, Flixton, St Catherines, Barton-upon-Irwell, Urmston Cemetery and the Jewish Cemetery in Urmston. Also covered are the three cenotaphs, plaques and stained glass windows in the churches including Barton All saints, our area's only Grade I listed building.
