Description

This event will highlight the work of pro bono barristers and explore the rise in unrepresented litigants-in-person and unsatisfactory decision-making by public authorities in England and Wales.

Discussion at the event will focus on:

• Immigration;

• Tax;

• Special educational needs and disability; and

• Social Security (in relation to Personal Independence Payments).

The event, Chaired by Andrew Langdon QC, Chair of the Bar, will feature Sir Ernest Ryder, Sir Henry Brooke, Tribunal Judge Nicholas Easterman, Jonathan Peacock QC and David Wolfe QC.

Registration starts at 1730 for a prompt 1800 start. The event will be followed by a networking drinks reception.
