You will be inspired by our 1:500 scale model of the square mile, access exclusive tours of unique City buildings and get the chance to meet professionals from across the industry.
We're kicking off events in 2017 with two Saturday workshops with 15 places available. Places are free but booking is required.
The Barbican is The City of London's most iconic example of visionary post-war architecture. This exclusive free tour will answer all the questions you ever wanted to know about the complex.
How much concrete was used? Why is it called ‘Barbican’? Why is the lake so green…?
Follow a Barbican guide to explore the Barbican and discover the fascinating history behind the building of the Centre and the surrounding estate. Walking along the Barbican highwalks, we'll learn more about the construction, design and influence of the estate, along with surprising and rarely seen sights and discoveries plus little known insights into this unique architectural endeavour. After the tour there will be time to return to the parts of the building that you find most inspirational for free sketching. Book Now to secure your place.
