London is more than its bricks and mortar: it is a city constructed as much through the minds of great writers, as by the architects who built it.
Taking in a broad chronological journey through the texts that make up London this course will appeal to those with an interest in literary study. As well as learning about the history of London, through some of its greatest thinkers, the course will also offer a basic backgrounding in some of the most significant movements, themes, and concerns in English literature.
This course runs on Thursday evenings at 6.30-8.30pm from Thurs 27th April - Thurs 29th June 2017 (one evening class per week and one walking trip).
