The City to City pub walk: 2000 years of London history and the most amazing pubs

About this event

Ideal for private tours/ small groups/corporate events. Minimum of four persons required.

In and around Fleet Street we are lucky to have some of the most unique pubs in the world. From the Romans to modern day. Our walk will take us from Blackfriars to the Strand. We will see St Brides Church who's spire inspired William Rich to design the wedding cake. We will hear stories of the Great Fire of London and the Blitz. We will visit the Inns of Court and hear of Jack the Ripper connections. We will hear stories of the Street of Ink where the British Newspaper Industry was once dominant . We will walk on to Waterloo Bridge for the best view in London and maybe a Waterloo Sunset. We will finish our walk in the Strand and visit the Coal Hole another unique Victorian pub. Although this is a pub tour it is full of history and perfectly suitable for people who do not want to consume an alcoholic beverage
