About this event
✨Welcome to The Clearing✨
I invite you to:
Pause - away from the noise, and get quiet enough to connect with what’s true for you before the filters and censorship kick in.
Rest - away from the rush, and slow down enough to feel something shift deep inside you.
I created it because it’s the kind of space I love but is so hard to find. It’s somewhere you can just be, sit in silence, or say whatever’s there, without needing to make it sound right or please anyone but yourself.
You don’t even need to make sense! You can simply speak without editing it to make it logical or acceptable to anybody else.
Step into The Clearing if:
🌿 you’re exhausted, disconnected, or simply want room to breathe.
🌿 you feel a change stirring — an idea, decision, or shift that needs space to unfold.
🌿 you long to be heard without interruption, advice, or judgment.
🌿 you desire a deeper connection with yourself and other women.
The Clearing is a gathering of women with a shared purpose: to embrace silence, speak from the heart, and experience the power of presence and connection in community with like-minded women.
You won’t need to wear a mask. Come as you are. Show up uncensored and unfiltered and leave feeling supported, liberated and uplifted.
A Few Things to Know
🕰️ Time
We’ll start at 7.30pm and run for an hour and a half. I’ll begin by introducing The Clearing, going over the guidelines, and leading a short meditation. Then there’ll be space for every woman to share, if she wants to.
8️⃣ Numbers
To ensure an intimate experince numbers will be capped at 8.
💻 Tech stuff
We’ll meet on Zoom. Please keep your camera on for the whole time, as it helps us feel present with each other - even in silence.
Please log on 5-10 minutes early to settle in and be ready to start on time.I’ll set up a waiting room and let us all in together at 7.30pm. I can't let anyone in once the call has staretd.
🔒 Confidentiality
What’s shared in The Clearing stays here. You’re welcome to share your own experience afterwards, of course, but please don’t talk about anyone else.
❤ The Heart of The Clearing
This isn’t about being sorted, wise, or certain. It’s about being real.
There’s no pressure to speak. You can show up and sit in silence. But if you do feel moved to share, you’ll be heard without interruption. No feedback. No fixing. Just space.
☕ What to Bring
· Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to bring a hot or cold drink if you want one.
· As much courage as you can. This space is different to everyday life and it might feel unfamiliar. It can feel vulnerable to speak something out loud simply because it’s there - without needing to justify it or make it tidy. The more you practise being you, the easier it gets. I know it takes courage, and I really honour you for showing up for yourself, and for others, in this way.
· Self-compassion, which is often harder than it sounds. I know how easy it is to judge myself after I’ve shared, and that might happen for you too. It doesn’t mean anything’s gone wrong.
· A willingness to just be, even if you’re not quite sure how.
If you have any questions before we begin, feel free to contact me.
Frequently asked questions
The event starts with some guidelines. Then we have a short mediation to settle into the space. Once the sharing time begins women take it in turns to speak - to say whatever is meaningful or important for them in that moment. There is no order, women just speak whenever it feels right to do so.
For as long or as little as you want to. The only rule is to be mindful that other women need to have the chance to speak too.
No. Everyone will be invited to say something at the beginning and end of the call but this is not compulsory. Once the Circle space is open you can share when you feel called to do so.
Absolutely, yes! We agree at the beginning to maintain the confidentiality of each woman present.
No, in fact it’s best not to. You’re welcome to come and share whatever arises in the moment - this is a beautiful way to be in Circle. However, if something is on your mind, bringing it and saying it out loud can bring real clarity. But I’d still encourage you not to prepare anything in advance.
Even though we crave space like this, feeling nervous or vulnerable is still completely normal. There is no right or wrong way to be in Circle (subject to the guidelines). Just show up however you are and you will be welcomed.
No problem. Just email me at laura@lauralicoaching.com and I'll get back to you.
