About this event

How much does it cost? Was it complicated? Will it be worth it?

Join in to hear our panel of u3a members talking about their recent experiences of fitting solar panels, buying an Electric Vehicle, fitting a heat pump and buying an electric bike.

You will hear them talk about their experiences, the costs and the savings (of both carbon and money). This impartial group of fellow members, will not attempt to offer advice, just the benefit of their honest, first-hand experiences.

Helpful documents relating to further actions can be found here on the Trust u3a Countdown to COP website: What can we do?

This event is organised by Brenda Ainsley from Cotgrave & District u3a. Brenda has trained with the Climate Reality Leadership Programme and regularly makes presentations to members of Trust u3a and to members of u3as throughout the country.

This event is for u3a members only and will be held online via Zoom. To find out more about u3a and how to join, visit: https://u3a.org.uk/join
