About this event
Join young climate activists and expert speakers at our upcoming event, “The Climate Hot Seat – The Warm Up” on 12th March from 5pm – 6.30pm, to discuss key environmental issues for the upcoming Scottish Parliament election.
Transport, wildlife and biodiversity, fossil fuels and energy, climate targets, and agriculture are some of the most important issues Scotland faces in the fight against climate change. What do Scotland’s elected decision-makers have to do to keep warming below catastrophic levels? Ask the experts and have your say in this interactive session.
This event precedes a youth climate hustings that we are organising with Scottish party leaders, due to take place on Friday 9th April. The focus for this warm up event is to give young people the opportunity to learn with climate experts in order to more effectively hold party leaders to account at the hustings. We will also be supporting you to register to vote in the upcoming Scottish Parliamentary elections in May 2021.This event will be hosted on Zoom and is open to young people aged 11-25.
