The Cloud Gardner in conversation with Tori Tsui: Greening the Urban Future
Overview
In Conversation: Greening the Urban Future
Join The Cloud Gardener Jason Williams and climate justice campaigner Tori Tsui for a thought-provoking discussion on the power of small space gardening and the future of green cities.
Fresh from studying urban greening in Europe, China, and Singapore, Jason shares his insights into how city living and nature can thrive together — from balcony gardens to large-scale urban biodiversity projects. In conversation with Tori, they’ll explore how climate action, mental wellbeing, and community resilience intersect in our built environments.
Jason Williams:
Jason Williams, known as The Cloud Gardener, is a multi-award-winning garden designer and urban living expert, recently returning from studies in urban greening across Europe, China, and Singapore. He began gardening on his 18th-floor balcony during the pandemic, discovering its therapeutic power, and later founded Cloud Gardener UK to help others start their wellbeing journeys through small-space gardening. His work champions accessible urban gardening, biodiversity, and the mental health benefits of connecting with nature in city spaces.
