Event description

Description

Over 200 years ago Richard Cuming officially started his collection by purchasing items from the sale of the Leverian museum near Blackfriars bridge. This started an obsession to create a miniature British Museum in Walworth which passed from father to son. Find out more about this family and the collections in this talk by Judy Aitken, curator.

A number of buses also stop nearby either on London Bridge, at the station or at Borough High Street. For more information we recommend using https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/
