The Colossal Mahalaya

The event will comprise of a dance drama, “Mahishashura Mardini” (the ancient tale narrating the victory of good over evil) which will include recitation of hymns from scriptural verses of “Devi Mahatmyam” or “Chandi Kavya”, Bengali devotional songs and dances. The Mahishasura Mardini Stotram holds a deep spiritual significance, encapsulating ancient wisdom and representing the enduring strength that can be harnessed through devotion to the divine.
