Event Details

Join us of an evening of discussion around mental health in the BAME community, with the co-editor of The Colour of Madness, Dr. Samara Linton to discuss the nuances of cultural reactions to mental health, through short stories & poems. Held at the productive stationery supply store Methodical which, curates edits to help you get your sh*t together (including your mental health) 

Feruza Afewerki - Dr. S. Linton - CoM - MethodicalAn anthology curated by Samara Linton &   Rianna Walcott, The Colour of Madness is a seminal BAME led & curated anthology, comprised of poetry, fiction, essays, memoirs & art submitted by BAME writers, academics, mental health workers, artists & those still navigating life with mental health issues. 

Join us for an evening dedicated to the book & explore the BAME mental health experience, specifically for those in the UK. 

 

 

 


 

Join Dr Linton at Methodical, a productive stationery supply store, run by the Sharp - tongued & (somewhat organised) Founder of Methodical, who also moonlights as a productivity consultant; the event will be held in their HQ in the Boutique Mall in the Heart of East London, The Factory Dalston.

The space is fun space (with cocktails and/or wine) with all the tools to help you work to live, not the other way around.


 

Terms & Conditions
- Genreral Admission includes a copy of The Colour or Madness; you will receive your copy at the venue.
- Your admission entitles you to have your book signed by Dr. S Linton.
- Those without a ticket will not be permitted to enter. Tickets Can be purchased on the door. 
- Please note the event may be filmed or photographed, as an attendee you consent to footage and/ or images of you being used for promotional purposes.
- Tickets cannot be resold or transferred and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise. Refunds are not available.
- Methodical have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who fails to follow reasonable instructions on the day.
