Event description

Description

The Commodore Story is a cram-packed 2 hour documentary film that will take us through Commodore's evolution from the 70s to the 90s from the PET, VIC-20, C64 to the Amiga and beyond including the very rare C65 and the wave of new Commodore-related products that are hitting the market today.

Commodore does not get the recognition it rightly deserves and often get overlooked by Apple and IBM. The Commodore Story aims to put this right and prove how important Commodore was in the computer revolution. The film tells the real story of the demise of Commodore, but will also focus on the positive influence Commodore has given to the world over the years.

This nostalgic film features interviews many ex-Commodore & Amiga engineers and staff, games-makers, magazine publishers and tells Commodore user stories from past and present.

With over 30 collaborators including Commodore & Amiga Legends Leonard Tramiel, Dave Haynie, Michael Tomczyk, Greg Berlin, Randell Jesup, Hedley Davis and Ronald Nicholson with more to come and games programmers, 8-bit music composers, Commodore book and magazine authors.

This event will be part of a worldwide screening, featuring a link-up with The Computer History Museum in California's Silicon Valley.

The event will also feature a Q&A with the Director, and additional footage not available on the Blu-Ray release. Plus refreshments available for all who attend.

Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.
