Event description

Description

Discover the art of building impact, influence and rapport in group communication and one-to-one conversations.

Using performance techniques to examine status and influence, explore how you can flex your approach to achieve desired outcomes.

Active listening, solution-driven negotiation and delivering difficult messages will all be explored through practical work, as well as using creative approaches to ensure you deliver your message authentically and effectively.

In the afternoon, you will have the chance to practice the skills you have learnt in scenario-based training and receive individual feedback.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Build awareness of your own communication style and preference

  • Understand how body language and voice work to create status and build rapport

  • Learn how to flex your approach when communicating, enabling you to handle a wide range of work situations (and colleagues) with confidence

  • Through practical exercises, develop a tool kit of skills that you can apply back in the office

The Confident Communicator is led by fully qualified Voice and Communications Trainer. Group sizes are limited to 10 participants to ensure maximum impact and individual feedback. The course will run 10am - 5pm at the Cervantes Theatre in Southwark.

Please make sure you have read and are familiar with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy and Business Short Course Handbook before making payment for a course.
