How often does the network meet?

Every 2 weeks, on a Wednesday from 1.00pm until 2.00pm.
We will meet via Zoom.
The next session  Connecting Roots Network Session will be held on Wednesday 1st March 2023.

Following dates: 
15/03/23, 05/04/23, 19/04/23, 03/05/23, 17/05/23

Who can join the network?

The network is open for anyone who is involved with, or is interested in nature, wellbeing and their communities.

The network is focused on the voluntary sector in Walsall but we welcome any organisation, group or individual to join in the discussion from the surrounding area and beyond!

What is the Connecting Roots Network?

Accepted Answer

Connecting Roots is a knowledge sharing network that we are building to support the voluntary sector in Walsall with a particular focus on nature, wellbeing and communities.

How does it work?

Accepted Answer

We will be building and designing this network around you and with you. It will evolve over time to suit the wants and needs of the people that are part of it.
We will be building the ‘curriculum’ or content of these sessions based on what advice, support, help or information you need.

Who are we?

We are a small team of designers and researchers based at the Royal College of Art. We are working on a publicly funded (UKRI) project called ‘Connecting Roots’. 
We are looking into how green social prescribing can support the health and wellbeing of communities in Walsall.
