Event description

Description

The one-day programme is for experienced coaches who are open to discovering new ways of realising more of their personal and professional potential by exploring and connecting with their own core identity.

The quality of a coach’s presence when coaching is largely determined not only by how they are, but also who they are in that moment – which part of their personality they are operating from.

The activities of the day will include presentations, discussions and self-exploration through visualisation. Once these elements have been identified, the skill of dis-identification will be introduced and practised, preparing the way to experiencing one’s essential, unconditioned identity.

It is from this space that coaching becomes mastery of self and of process.

WHY should you attend?

  • To travel further along the road to self-mastery, a prerequisite for coaching mastery.
  • To release your untapped potential as a coach.
  • To be guided to a place from which non-striving, non-self-interested, non-fearful and non-performing coaching becomes possible.
  • To discover a new level of presence with your coachees – how present you can be is about the quality of your presence, which is determined by where you are in yourself.

WHAT we will explore:

  • The Guiding Principle is: “Theory informs – Experience transforms”.
  • You will have the opportunity to experience your True Self as a place of Being, of equanimity, of witness, of wider perspective, from which effortless action and detached involvement become possible.

HOW will we do this?

  • By exploring your habitual inner leaders, your primary subpersonalities.
  • By reviewing your habitual coaching practice and identifying “who is doing the coaching”, which parts of you are normally in charge when you are coaching.
  • By exploring, identifying and experiencing your central identity, a place from which you can see more clearly, choose more surely, relate more authentically and act more effortlessly in the service of your clients.
