About this event

Charity & Causes • Environment

TCV will be working to sensitively scythe and remove hay from the grassland areas and small glades, as well as cut and dig out encroaching bramble.

The burial ground is not in active use, and has developed into an ecologically rich mosaic of woodland, glades, grassland, scrub and memorials. There are a few anthills present within the grassland, and bramble scrub is invading the habitat.

This site is managed for biodiversity by LBRuT.

We will meet at the gated entrance to Richmond Old Burial Ground, accessed via Lower Grove Road at 10am. Look out for the TCV van parked within the gates.
