About this event

Charity & Causes • Environment

TCV will be working at the Twickenham Rifle & Pistol Club to sensitively scythe and remove hay from the grassland, as well as cut and dig out encroaching bramble. This area is managed for biodiversity by LBRuT.

The outdoor rifle range is no longer in use, and has developed into an ecologically rich mosaic of tussocky grassland, scrub and crumbling brickwork. There are many anthills present within the grassland, and bramble scrub is also invading the habitat due to little management taking place.

Meet at Craneford Way greenspace on the field behind the playground at 10am. Look for the TCV van.
