About this Event

Polly Curtis is the former UK editor-in-chief of the

Huffington Post and was previously UK director of

media at the Red Cross and digital editor of The

Guardian. This exciting and informative talk will

examine the burgeoning information divide between

those who pay for news and those who rely on free

services, and how this is affecting society. She will

also talk about her work at Tortoise, a ‘slow news’

organisation which is helping to bridge this gap.
