Stress related absence from work costs the UK Economy billions of pounds per year and stress sin the workplace is now the biggest cause of long term absence from work.

Managing mental health in the workplace is therefore paramount to ensuring the wellbeing of staff and the profitability of the business. One of the principle causes of work related stress can be bullying, or the perception of bullying, by managers and colleagues. Managing these issues is often complex both in terms of legal and medical considerations but also the practical perspective of running a business. This seminar will look at the legal obligations facing employers and provide practical tips for preventing mental ill health in the workplace but then also looking at possible solutions if issues arise as well as giving an incite in to the perception of those who have suffered with mental health issues.
