The Course of History: Ten Meals That Changed the World.

Struan Stevenson talks about his fascinating and unusual history book, The Course of History, examining how food and drink have had an enormous influence on the outcomes of some of history’s most resonant moments. He looks at ten world events in particular. These include the Battle of Culloden, the American Revolution, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the Austrian Anschluss.
