The Courtauld PhD Open Evening, September 2025

The PhD degree at The Courtauld is an ambitious, rigorous, and internationally renowned programme with a global outlook and unparalleled strengths in art history, conservation and curating.

At our Open Evening, you will find out about our research programme, the application process, and meet with current staff and students.

The programme for the evening is:

• 17:30 - 18:00: Registration
• 18:00 - 19:00: The Courtauld and PhD overview, applications and funding, PhD student experiences, and Q&As.
• 19:00 - 19:30: Refreshments and networking

Before the event, you are invited to take in our magnificent collection at The Courtauld Gallery from 10:00 onwards.

Kindly note:

• You are very welcome to bring guests with you - please book additional tickets for them.
• Light refreshments will be provided.
• Tickets to The Courtauld Gallery will cover the main collection only.
• On-site parking is limited at Vernon Square and reserved for those with accessibility requirements. If you require parking, please email marketing@courtauld.ac.uk
