Do Parents need to accompany younger children

Parents and carers must accompany those under 14 years of age and are also welcome to accompany those above that age.

Is there parking at the event?

If you are travelling by car to the events there is secure paid for university car park next to the building on Queen Street South or on street parking close by. We are a ten minute walk from the bus and train stations.

Who Are The Creative Loop Challenge?

The Creative Loop Challenge is part of The Interlace Project (TIP), a not-for-profit research group based at the University of Huddersfield.

Are staff DBS checked?

All staff are DBS checked with relevant insurances in place.

We invite you to put your twists, turns, and talents to the test by taking part in the Creative Loop Challenge—a competition open to all Yorkshire residents aged under 18, in association with the University of Huddersfield and the Knit and Crochet Guild.

Celebrate Yorkshire and Huddersfield’s rich textile heritage in this exciting challenge. Reimagine knitting and crochet through inventive approaches inspired by structure, movement, and unexpected patterns.
