This is an advanced creative business workshop. You will find it useful if:

We will not be covering:
- How to find an agent or a publisher, or how to self-publish.
- Technical specifics on how to use any platforms for publishing or marketing
- Specific financial or legal advice
- How to write a book, fiction or non-fiction. This is a business workshop.

What do I need to bring?
You will be writing as part of the workshop so please bring your notebook and pen/laptop. There aren't many power plugs so if your laptop might run out of battery, please have a paper backup option!
We will have some book sales at the back of the room during breaks, so if you're interested, bring some cash for that, or we can invoice you later.

The Travelodge Bath Central is just around the corner, 1, York Buildings, George St, Bath BA1 2EB, and the Premier Inn is only a short walk away, 4 James St W, Bath BA1 2BX.
The hotel is 15 mins walk from Bath Spa railway station and also the bus/coach station, or you can get a taxi or Uber.
Car Parking is available at the Podium Car Park (next door to hotel). 8 hours - £13.00; 24 hours - £15.00.
You can also use the Park and Ride at Lansdown (north of the city) or Odd Down (south of the city) and the bus drops you a street away.
Covid safety
UK government Covid guidelines apply in the hotel and the workshop.
You’re welcome to wear a mask but this will not be required.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel up to 2 weeks prior to the event, we will refund 100% of the ticket.
If you cancel within 2 weeks of the event, we will refund 75% of the ticket as we have to cover costs with the venue.
If we have to cancel because of a UK government-mandated Covid lockdown, we will postpone the event. You can transfer your ticket to the next event, or we will refund you 100%. Fingers crossed that won't happen!
Bath is a wonderful city if you want to make a weekend of it!
Wander round the Roman Baths and the medieval Abbey in the centre of town, or walk up the hill to the Georgian Circus and the Royal Crescent.
Walk along the canal path to Bathampton, or have a coffee on the riverside by the weir.
Channel your inner Bridgerton or Jane Austen side, or go dark and visit the House of Frankenstein. (Yes, Mary Shelley wrote the novel here!)
