Marking 1700 years since the Council of Nicaea in 325, this webinar will explore both the theological contours of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of 381 and the vibrant experience of life in Christ that lies behind it.

Rev Dr Susan Durber is a minister of the United Reformed Church in the United Kingdom, and the World Council of Churches President from Europe. She has served local churches, as Principal of Westminster College Cambridge and as Theology Advisor at Christian Aid. From 2014 -2022 she was Moderator of the Faith and Order Commission of the WCC. She has published books on preaching, on the parables of Jesus, collections of prayers, and articles and statements on ecumenism.
Revd. Professor Paul Fiddes is a Baptist theologian who is Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at the University of Oxford. He was previously Principal of Regent's Park College, Oxford. His many publications include Participating in God: A Pastoral Doctrine of the Trinity (London, DLT: 2000)
Fr. Dragos Herecsu is the Principal of the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies, Cambridge. He is also an affiliated Lecturer of the Divinity Faculty, Cambridge. He serves as parish priest for St. John the Evangelist Romanian Orthodox parish in Cambridge.
