The Cricketer Live - An Evening with Mark Nicholas and Sir Ian Botham
Thu 20 October 2016, 18:30 – 20:30 BST
In celebration of the game we love and the launch of his acclaimed book “A Beautiful Game” join Mark Nicholas as he discusses cricketing memories with Sir Ian Botham.
Mark and Ian will be discussing their cricketing lives, their memories of playing, commentating and watching the game over the last 40 years. They will reflect on what has changed, what remains the same and what the future holds for the game of cricket.
The event will be informal, conversational and convivial as you would expect from Mark Nicholas. He will take questions from the audience throughout and I am sure he will coax some legendary tales from "Beefy" as he reflects back on a once in a generation career.
Don’t miss what will be an unforgettable night for any cricket fan. Each attendee will also be given a signed, hard back copy of Mark’s wonderful new book – “A Beautiful Game” RRP £20 (published on on 6th October by Allen & Unwin).
The doors will open at 6.30pm and the event will begin at 7pm and finish at 8.30pm. The cash bar will be open before and after the event - come early and have a drink or stay late and continue the debate.
This event will take place on Thursday 20th October at The Oval Cricket Ground, London.
£35 a ticket - this includes a signed hard back copy of Mark's book "A Beautiful Game" - RRP £20
