THE CURATING LUTON COLLECTIVE
offering - in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire - an autumn program including
info-social, CPD, training and knowledge exchange opportunities
What's it all about?
Luton Borough Council have secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to develop a supportive infrastructure for the growing ecosystem of community organisations and heritage practitioners delivering (and wanting to deliver) heritage activities across town; and we're working with the University to offer an autumn program of activity.
"We can't afford to work in silos anymore"
The topic for this session is 'Placemaking' (the government buzzword across planning, community, arts, culture and heritage ).
We offer space for you to network with other local heritage practioners and hear about local heritage projects.
There will be a range local and national presenterslooking at all aspects of ' Placemaking' from planning and regeneration, cultural identity, and digital place-making.
There will be free refreshments; and then a chance for you to ' deep-dive' into the question of (and contribute your answers to) 'What IS Placemaking (and what does it mean for Luton)?'
