WHAT TO EXPECT

If you’ve ever thought magic was just camera tricks or staged reactions, prepare for your expectations to be turned upside down. THIS MONTH AT THE CURIOUS CABARET

Mixing stand-up with physical comedy and magic, Sam Fletcher brings his original and unique flavour to this month’s line up at The Curious Cabaret.

Whether it is a dance involving an invisible dog, swallowing needles (and then regurgitating them back up) or making tea in the most inventive way, Sam will leave you in hysterics with his impressive illusions.

Gearing up for another new show for the Edinburgh Fringe 2025 - Tom Brace will be gracing our stage this month with his own youthful brand of magic and hillarity.

Finally, your host for the evening, Chris Wilder - professional wizard, magical idiot, and all round mathematical genius - a Member of The Magic Circle with a fascination for time travel, obscure movie trivia, and a lovely cup of tea.

As the host of The Curious Cabaret, Chris is sure to charm and beguile you with his own brand of wit and wonder, and maybe a card trick thrown in for good measure.

DETAILS

Doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM lasting 2 hours, including two short intervals.

It is designed for adults as the venue is a licensed cocktail bar.

Throughout the evening you can expect to be amazed and astounded, enjoy fits of laughter, and find yourself asking 'how'?

WHERE

The show is held at The Berliner Bar, Beeston, Nottingham where you can find a selection of wines, spirits, draft ales and delicious cocktails along with a selection of hot food to enjoy throughout the evening. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and parking is available nearby.

TICKETS

To ensure the best performances, ticket numbers are limited with allocated seating. There are a number of front row VIP seats available for the best seats in the house. ADVANCED TICKETS are on sale until 6PM on the day of the show. After this time, tickets are only available on the door.
