The Dark Side of Leadership
Thu 27 October 2016, 18:00 – 20:30 BST
The CIPD Mid Scotland branch would like to invite you to our, slightly different, Leadership event, which will be delivered in partnership with The Leadership Factory.
Most people can name a “bad” boss faster than they can say their telephone number. Try it! They can have a destructive impact on an organisational culture and the people around them, undoing years of good work.
But what creates a bad boss or leader? More importantly, how do you redeem them?
You’ll find this interactive learning event thought provoking. Dr Andy Kelly from the Leadership Factory will discuss the darker side of leadership, why it happens and how to make sure your leaders and managers get the best out of others and their organisation.
Sharing over 20 years’ experience working with leaders and managers from a diverse range of businesses, Dr Kelly illustrates real examples of destructive leaders. The session will allow you to consider your own leadership culture and the impact it has on your business.
As a Leadership and change consultancy, The Leadership Factory, help and assist businesses drive change by creating the right leadership culture. With a highly experience In House team and our unique approach we are totally committed to our clients and extremely passionate about what we do.
We’ll also be sharing with you some of the latest thinking and insights on leadership from the CIPD.
