The Day All The Candles Blew Out!

We need your help!

We’re trying to find out what happened one fateful night, hundreds of years ago, at the Emporium of Stories when all the candles blew out! It went down in history, people talked about it for centuries, it went down as myth... LEGEND even!

Only problem is, everyone’s now forgotten about it so we need to remember and rewrite the epic event!

This session is part of our ‘Secrets of the Time Before’ programme, where children and young people reimagine the history of our Emporium of Stories, long before Grimm & Co moved in.

When: Tuesday 23rd December 2025

Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm

Ages: 8 - 12

Parents/Carers can get comfortable in the Feastery Cafe downstairs for the duration of the session and enjoy a drink or something to eat whilst you wait for your young person!

Please note that Grimm & Co has recently become a Family Hub Satellite and as such we will be sharing our sign-up data with the local authority. This notification is just to let you know about this and that we'll be sharing your young person's name, post code and date of birth for reporting purposes. Do let us know if you'd rather we not do this.
